Finding Help for Opioid Addiction in New Hampshire
New Hampshire has had a difficult time with opioids for a number of years now. It has touched a lot of families and communities across the state, including right here in Manchester, Nashua, Derry, and Salem.
If you or someone you love is in that situation, I want you to know that help is available and that reaching out is a sign of courage, not weakness.
Opioid dependence is not a moral failing. It changes the way the brain works over time, and that means getting better usually requires real support, not just willpower. Treatment works. Not always in a clean straight line, and sometimes it takes a few tries to find what fits, but people recover from this every day.
I work with people dealing with opioid and alcohol dependence at my practice in the Bedford-Manchester area. If there are also legal issues involved, I’m familiar with what the NH court system looks for and can help navigate that piece as well.
If you’re ready to talk, I’m here.
