Employer-Required LADC Evaluations in NH
Not every LADC evaluation is tied to a court case. A meaningful portion of the evaluations I do come from employment situations, a positive drug test at work, an incident on the job, or a union or company agreement that requires a formal evaluation before someone can return.
The process follows the same structure as a court-ordered evaluation. We sit down together, I gather background information through the clinical interview and diagnostic tools, and I produce a written report with findings. The difference is where that report goes. In an employment context it usually goes to HR, an EAP coordinator, or an occupational health professional rather than a judge.
Timeline tends to matter a lot in these situations. There’s often a return-to-work deadline involved, and I try to schedule quickly and turn reports around in a timely way so the paperwork isn’t the thing holding things up for you.
I work with people from Manchester, Nashua, Bedford, Concord, and across Southern New Hampshire. Virtual appointments are available if coming into the office isn’t practical.
