Anxiety Is the Most Common Thing I See, and the Most Treatable
A lot of people manage anxiety on their own for years before they decide to talk to someone about it. By the time they come in, they’ve gotten good at working around it. Avoiding certain situations. Keeping busy so there’s less room for it. Some find that a drink in the evening takes the edge off, at least for a little while.
I see anxiety in my practice more than anything else. People from Nashua to Bedford to Manchester come in with it showing up in all kinds of ways, constant low-grade worry, social situations that feel overwhelming, panic that seems to come out of nowhere, or a mind that just won’t settle at night.
A lot of people assume that’s just who they are. It usually isn’t.
CBT in particular has a genuinely strong track record with anxiety. It’s not an overnight fix, but most people who work consistently find that things shift noticeably within a few months. The work is practical, not just talk.
I also offer telehealth sessions, so if getting to an office in Bedford or Manchester doesn’t work with your life, we can still make it work.
